Columbia Conference Center
Ten high school students from Richland Lexington School District Five won $500 scholarship awards for artwork submitted to a competition sponsored by Columbia Conference Center. Their work will be displayed at the center during the coming year. Pictured here with Mike DuBose, Columbia Conference Center President (center), and Kim Inman, Vice President (far right), are winners and their parents. Students include Ryan Baskin, Josh Kehl, Miran Labrooy, Kasey McKay, and Kelli Vause of Dutch Fork High School; Lynn Gable, Clay Marra, and Stephanie Redmond of Chapin High School; and Jackie Flannery and Kyle Gilseth of Irmo High School.
Students whose work received honorable mention and a $50 award are pictured with their parents in this photograph. They include Andrew Barton, Skye Como, Jamie Rumbough, and Sarah Tholstrup of Chapin High School; Melanie Clemenz, Autumn Eckenbrecht, and Jessie Thompson of Dutch Fork High School; and Jennifer Foard, Ellen Walborn, and Aidan Zanders of Irmo High School.
